Job Summary

We're seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Homesense Preston. As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store fixtures
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
