About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community, Corporate and Events Manager to join our team at St Wilfrid's Hospice. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our events and community strategy, leading a team of fundraisers and building strong relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive events and community strategy to meet fundraising targets
  • Lead a team of fundraisers to deliver events and community activities, including planning, execution, and evaluation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners to secure funding and support
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of events and community activities, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising, events, and community development, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and regulations
