About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Works Delivery Supervisor to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of work across our assets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Works Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing and supervising worksites to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work
  • Planning and organizing work and resources to meet business needs
  • Coaching and developing others to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of work
  • Working shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet business needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of directing and supervising worksites and the safe and efficient delivery of work
  • Knowledge of processes for planning and organizing work and resources
  • Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques
  • Able to coach, influence, and develop others
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable working shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Desirable Criteria

We would also like to hear from candidates who have:

  • Hold or be working towards an NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or have attained an appropriate level of knowledge through equivalent relevant experience
  • Awareness of cost and waste control techniques
  • Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need
