Job Summary:

Oakleaf Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Screening & Compliance Manager to lead a team and oversee comprehensive screening and compliance processes for a large financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in background screening and compliance, with in-depth knowledge of screening policies and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end background and compliance screening process, including criminal checks, employment verification, education verification, and reference checks.
  • Implement comprehensive compliance procedures related to background screening and hiring processes.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting background screening and hiring compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective onboarding programs.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Create and share best practices within the team and organization to ensure Background Screening & Compliance is highly effective and valued.
  • Develop an external network of peers to stay informed about market changes and service improvements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in background screening and compliance with in-depth knowledge of screening policies and employment law.
  • Previous team leadership experience with a passion for coaching and motivating team members.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory developments affecting background screening and hiring compliance.
