About Active Care Group

At Active Care Group, we are committed to delivering exceptional support to our clients and their families. Our dedicated team of care professionals works tirelessly to ensure that every individual receives the highest quality care tailored to their unique needs.

The role of Female Care Assistant is a vital part of our care team, providing 24-hour support to a male client in his 70s with a severe brain injury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with personal care tasks, facilitating engagement in activities of daily living, hobbies, and accessing the community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be creative, patient, emotionally resilient, and have a good sense of humour. Previous care experience is essential, particularly working with clients with brain injuries. A calm and confident demeanor is also crucial when interacting with our client who displays challenging behavior.

We are seeking individuals who share similar interests to our client, such as music, arts and crafts, and the outdoors. However, this is not essential. Due to the nature of the client's behaviors, only female applicants are invited to apply.

As a Female Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training, supervision, and support from our experienced team. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in therapy programs, with full training provided.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, professional, and honest. You will also need to be flexible, work well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

We are proud to offer a competitive salary of £12.00-£13.00 per hour for waking hours and £11.44 per hour for sleeping nights. Bank positions are available, and flexibility is required to work 24/7, including weekend shifts.
