Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises through comprehensive patrols and access control measures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will be required to conduct regular patrols of the site, monitor access control systems, and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the site to ensure the security and safety of all areas.
- Access Control: Monitor and manage access control systems, including issuing and revoking badges as necessary.
- Visitor Screening: Screen visitors upon arrival, verifying their purpose and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents that may arise, including reporting and documenting incidents as necessary.
Essential Skills:
- SIA Licence: Possession of a valid SIA licence is required for this role.
- Access to Vehicle: A reliable vehicle and a good understanding of transportation links are essential for this role.
- RTW and 5 Year Checkable History: A minimum of 5 years of checkable history, including education and/or employment, is required for this role.
- SC Clearance: The ability to pass SC clearance is essential for this role, as you will be working with sensitive information.
- Previous Security Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role is required for this position.
