Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at ISS. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform unlock and lock up patrols, and alarm setting and unsetting.
- Provide a professional and welcoming service to meet and greet staff and visitors, being visible and encouraging with any assistance required.
- Check ID passes to ensure security is not breached.
- Obtain details and photographs to aid access and ID checks.
- Issue access cards in accordance with access and signing in processes.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of all procedures.
- Carry out security patrols throughout the allocated sites perimeter routes and internal buildings.
- Cover other duties such as Patrol and Response, CCTV Operations, Front of House and break relief.
- Report any defects or faults to the correct person/s.
- Monitor and operate all security systems when required (CCTV, access control systems, fire alarms and intruder alarms).
About You
- Previous security experience.
- A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license.
- Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech.
- Great attention to detail and a consistent approach.
- A team player with good customer service skills.
