Adult Life Skills Coach

We are looking for a skilled Adult Life Skills Coach to join our team at Glenholme Healthcare Group Ltd.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide personalized care and support to residents, assisting them in developing essential life skills such as household management, budgeting, and shopping.

You will also organize and participate in community-based activities, promoting socialization and engagement among residents.

About Our Service:

Birchwood House is a specialist home catering to the unique needs of individuals with profound and severe disabilities, as well as those with complex behaviors that may challenge.

Birchwood Lodge is a supported living service, specifically tailored to meet the distinct needs of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex behaviors.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check to be carried out, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety and security.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker or equivalent is ideal but not necessary.
  • We offer full training and enhanced specialist training to support your professional growth.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders.
