About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and social events
  • Maintain accurate records and notes as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional care and support

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding
