Ultra Maritime is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team in Rugeley, Staffordshire. As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our busy HR office, providing effective and efficient support to our small HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support to our HR team, handling general queries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Support absence management, including absence calls, manager notifications, and updating relevant systems.
  • Manage online time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce documentation and letters, including employee contracts and benefits information.
  • Support Contingent Worker extensions and reviews, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain HR filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
  • Coordinate and complete projects, such as transferring employee files online.
  • Support the Engineering Resource Coordinator with interview scheduling and new starter inductions.
  • Review and interpret policies, ensuring compliance with best practice and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous HR or training administration experience in a SME business.
  • Minimum GCSE grade of A*-C/Level 9-4 in Math and English.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally.
  • Experience with online time and attendance systems, desired.
  • Proactive, assertive, and able to use initiative.
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Computer literate and competent with Microsoft suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
