HR Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Ultra Maritime. As an HR Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with absence management, including absence calls, manager notifications, and updating relevant systems.
- Support with online time and attendance records, including data entry and reporting.
- Produce documentation and letters as required.
- Support with Contingent Worker extensions and reviews.
- Complete HR filing and maintenance of filing systems and archiving.
- Coordinate and complete projects to transfer employee files online.
- Support the Engineering Resource Coordinator with interview scheduling.
- Support with new starter induction sessions.
- Support HR with review and interpretation of policies in line with best practice.
- Previous HR or training administration experience within a SME business.
- Minimum GCSE grade of A*–C/ Level 9-4 in Math and English.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment, ideally.
- Experience working with online time and attendance systems, desired.
- Use of IFS or Workday platforms, not essential.
- Proactive, assertive, uses initiative.
- Effective time management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Computer literate and competent with Microsoft suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- An understanding of confidentiality in the HR setting as well as GDPR.
