We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Optometry Practitioner to join our team at Newmedica. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests, supporting consultants in outpatient clinics, and caring for post-operative patients.

Your Role

As Clinical Optometry Practitioner, you will perform diagnostic tests such as Biometry, Corneal Topography, OCT, FFA, and IOP, and provide clear explanations of results to patients. You will also support consultants in outpatient clinics, undertake diagnostic testing as required, and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements
  1. A fully qualified Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC
  2. Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments in Visual Acuity, IOP checks, Visual Fields, Pachymetry, and Slit Lamp Skills
  3. Knowledge of clinical practice and awareness of current developments in optometry
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We offer a competitive salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per annum, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days annual leave, a company pension scheme, and various employee discounts.
