The ideal candidate will have a doctoral level training in clinical psychology and experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings.

Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to work with children and adolescents who require psychological support due to long-term illnesses, such as diabetes. You will be responsible for providing specialist clinical psychology assessments and short-term interventions, leading the psychological approach to care within the MDT, and communicating effectively with health and social care staff.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by HCPC, including evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Post-qualification training in one or more specialised areas of practice.

The estimated salary for this role is around £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
