Coba Education is currently recruiting Secondary School teachers to work on a regular supply basis in the Wellingborough area.

We welcome self-driven individuals, including ECTs with good classroom experience, who approach their work in a highly professional manner. Supply teaching provides several benefits, including the opportunity to work with numerous schools around your area, flexibility in choosing your working days, and making new connections.

As a supply teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education in the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Implementing lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers or developing your own when necessary.
  2. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students to aid in their success.
  3. Effectively managing classroom behavior and maintaining discipline according to school policies.
  4. Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to address student needs and maintain consistency in instruction.
  5. Providing feedback to regular classroom teachers regarding student progress and other details.
What We Require:
  1. QTS or ECT status (desirable but not essential)
  2. Strong classroom management skills
  3. Resourcefulness and enthusiasm
  4. To stay up-to-date with the National Curriculum
  5. Two reliable references
