A career-defining opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Registered Care Home Manager to lead a reputable care provider in Surrey, UK. This is an exciting chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly and individuals living with dementia.
About the RoleAs a Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are met and all regulatory requirements are fulfilled. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safety by protecting service users from avoidable harm and abuse
- Managing risks associated with mobility, behavior, and hygiene
- Providing timely assistance and care to service users
- Overseeing medication administration and accurate record-keeping
- Completing safety checks, including fire and health & safety measures
- Managing the DoLS process, including authorizations and mental capacity assessments
You will also be expected to promote effectiveness by assessing and monitoring nutritional needs and access to healthcare services, providing mentoring and supervision to care staff, and organizing access to healthcare services and ongoing support.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £72,500 per annum, plus benefits including an annual performance-related bonus, CQC 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating bonus, and referral bonuses.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 5, RMA, RMN, or QCF (completed or enrolled)
- A proven track record as a registered manager within a nursing care setting, preferably specializing in elderly and dementia care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and health & social care standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
