Materials Supply Specialist

Kellanova's Manchester plant is home to some of our biggest brands, including Cornflakes, Crunchy Nut, Rice Krispies, and Coco Pops. We are looking for a skilled Materials Supply Operator to join our team on a fixed-term contract.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the loading, unloading, storage, and delivery of production materials to and from the plant. This involves ensuring the efficient movement and supply of materials to production areas using workplace transport, such as Forklift Truck and Pedestrian Operated Trucks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures, as well as food safety regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Tasks:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of production materials to the production floor.
- Monitor and maintain plant equipment to standard, using SOPs and SOCs.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a current FLT license and relevant forklift driving experience within a warehouse environment. Additionally, they should possess excellent computer literacy skills and attention to detail.
Salary: £38,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses based on performance.
