Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our North West Fostering service as a Child Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, stable, and supportive homes for children and young people who have experienced trauma and attachment disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with a team of clinical psychologists to provide trauma-informed practice and attachment theory-based therapies.
- To hold a manageable caseload and provide regular support to foster carers.
- To use evidence-based therapies, including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Theraplay, and PACE, to support children and young people in care.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £34,100 per annum, plus a range of benefits including generous holiday entitlement and opportunities for career development.
