We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural needs and will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive behaviour and enhance pupil's learning experiences.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with pupils who require behavioural support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHCPs.
- Support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviours to maximise their learning potential.
- Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages respect and cooperation.
- Assist with general classroom duties and support other pupils as needed.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Previous UK primary school experience is preferred, as is patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help pupils succeed. Relevant qualifications or training in education or behavioural support are also desirable.
