Job Description

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

The role of the Operations Manager in our NHS Pensions team involves overseeing the delivery of high-profile services that continuously adapt to meet strategic and operational goals. Key responsibilities include managing the performance of team managers, providing coaching and guidance on management issues, and creating and managing the delivery of operational objectives.

To be successful in this position, you will need a supervisory or management qualification NVQ level 4 or above, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you will have broad relevant management experience in a back-office environment, proven results for strong performance management skills, and a proven track record of achieving SLAs/KPIs in a financial/service environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to handle telephone queries effectively and manage multiple tasks. You will also have knowledge of Quality Management Systems, report writing, and computer literacy.
