Infrastructure Technician, Competitive Salary

Dalkia Engineering is seeking an Infrastructure Technician to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This role involves collaborating with a group of skilled professionals responsible for the upkeep of various infrastructure assets. The team plays a crucial role in managing maintenance and addressing faults related to key infrastructure components.

The successful candidate will work closely with the infrastructure management team, ensuring the effective operation of essential systems.

Primary Responsibilities

Updating the asset inventory within the Electrical Asset Management System (LMS). This includes: Bulk uploading electrical and structural documentation, utilizing Query Builder to generate reports for identifying assets with incomplete or incorrect information, and updating individual asset records. Additionally, assisting with the management of PowerBI applications for defect tracking and minor works. Providing administrative support, which encompasses: Preparing maintenance reports, documenting meeting minutes, and aiding the team in ensuring that asset and project documentation is systematically stored in the appropriate digital locations. Supporting the LMS lead in the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the system. Assisting the street lighting and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) managers with various administrative tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficient in IT systems, including Excel and Word. Strong awareness of health and safety protocols. Possession of a valid driving license. Knowledge of the Welsh language is considered advantageous.
