Physiotherapy Department Head

Daytime Healthcare is partnering with a leading private hospital group in the UK to recruit a Physiotherapy Head of Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned healthcare organization that prioritizes learning, development, and a modern working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies for health and wellbeing needs.
- Create a positive working environment that promotes health, safety, and security.
- Develop and implement policies for service improvement and quality assurance.
- Lead the team in improving quality and patient outcomes.
- Ensure equality and diversity are promoted and respected.
- Effectively manage physical and financial resources.
- Plan, monitor, and quality assure the application of technology for patient care.
- Prevent and control Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) in collaboration with the line manager.
- Collaborate with specialist physiotherapists to set and monitor standards for physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and trends in physiotherapy.
- Collect and analyze data to inform physiotherapy decisions and promote patient wellbeing.
- BSc Hons Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
- Registration with the Healthcare Professional Council.
- Desirable: Supervisory or management qualification.
- Experience in applying clinical reasoning skills to complex patient cases, including orthopaedics.
