We are seeking an experienced Governance and Risk Manager to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a Divisional Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day delivery and development of the governance agenda across Division C.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Divisional Management Team in developing and implementing governance policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the divisional governance team, ensuring that risks and gaps in compliance are proactively identified and addressed.
- Develop and maintain a robust risk management programme in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Act as an expert lead in governance, advising clinical and management teams to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support them in delivering world-class care to all patients.
- First Degree level or equivalent level of relevant experience.
- Experience working at a senior level within an acute NHS setting.
- Practical experience in at least one area of clinical governance (e.g. clinical risk management, complaints, clinical effectiveness, patient involvement training and development).
- Experience of managing projects, deadlines, and fluctuating workloads.
- Line management experience.
