Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Administrator to join our team at Haxby Group in Scarborough. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting our Management and Partnership team with the delivery of a professional HR service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, including collating application forms, sending out interview offers, and preparing for interviews.
  • Assist with the interview process, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practice.
  • Ensure pre-employment checks are completed for all prospective employees, including Occupational Health and Disclosure Barring Service clearance.
  • Support the employee life cycle, including responding to flexible working requests and assisting with employee departures.
  • Provide cover for the HR Manager, including reception duties and answering telephone enquiries.
  • Be a point of contact for managers, team leaders, employees, and members of the public, providing HR advice and support.

Requirements
  • A good level of formal education, including GCSE Maths and English at level 4-9 (C-A*).
  • Experience of working with IT and Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Some relevant experience in an office environment and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
