Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Loss Prevention Specialist to lead our regional Loss Prevention function. As a key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of the Loss Prevention strategy across a large portfolio of stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the regional Loss Prevention function, managing the delivery of the Loss Prevention strategy across a large portfolio of stores.
- Undertake investigations into internal and external theft, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure that all sites are adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Coach and advise retail teams in Loss Prevention best practice, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to prevent and detect loss.
- Identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring that all sites are secure and protected.
- Manage the response to security incidents, ensuring that all incidents are handled promptly and effectively.
- Implement the company shrink programme, working closely with retail teams to identify and address areas of high shrinkage.
- Work closely with retail teams to identify Security & Loss Prevention issues and challenges, ensuring that all sites are aware of potential risks and are equipped to prevent and detect loss.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the region, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the importance of Loss Prevention and are committed to supporting the function.
- Conduct and deliver Loss Prevention training programmes, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to prevent and detect loss.
- Drive company profitability through the correct implementation of loss prevention/security controls and processes, ensuring that all sites are secure and protected.
- Undertake risk assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes by working closely with site teams, ensuring that all sites are aware of potential improvements and are equipped to implement them.
- Manage and lead LP and security specific programmes across the region, ensuring that all programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently.
