Job Title: Residential Home Deputy Manager - Contextual Safeguarding Home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at the Contextual Safeguarding Home in Leicestershire. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

About the Role:
  • Support the Registered Manager in the management of the home, including staff supervision and training.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home is run in accordance with OFSTED regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory role in a children's residential setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of OFSTED regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
