Job Summary
We're seeking a talented Corporate Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you'll be responsible for securing significant donations from corporate partners through a variety of methods, including sponsorships, cause-related marketing, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate fundraising strategy to meet challenging targets
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to secure significant donations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute cause-related marketing campaigns
- Manage and steward celebrity ambassadors to maximize fundraising potential
- Work closely with the fundraising team to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives
Requirements
- Proven track record of securing significant donations from corporate partners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders
- Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Emotional intelligence and resilience, with the ability to handle challenging situations and prioritize tasks effectively
- Passion for the charity's mission and values, with a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people diagnosed with cancer and their families
