About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women, babies, and their families throughout their maternity journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist midwives and other healthcare professionals in providing care to women and their families
  • Support women in making informed decisions about their care and well-being
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to women and their families
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other agencies
  • Keep accurate and timely records of patient care

Requirements

  • Certificate of Higher Education in Maternity Support Work or equivalent care experience
  • Ability to demonstrate our organisational values and behaviours
  • Recent working experience within a maternity unit or healthcare setting
