We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternity Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to women, babies, and their families throughout their maternity journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist midwives and other healthcare professionals in providing care and support to women and their families
- Provide emotional and practical support to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatally
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care programs
- Communicate effectively with women, families, and healthcare professionals
- Keep accurate and timely records of patient care
Requirements
- Certificate of Higher Education in Maternity Support Work or equivalent
- Math and English GCSE grade C/Grade 4 or functional skills level 2
- Ability to demonstrate our organisational values and behaviours
