About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to women and their families throughout their maternity journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist midwives and other healthcare professionals in providing care to women and their babies
  • Support women in making informed decisions about their care and treatment
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to women and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care

Requirements

  • Certificate of Higher Education in Maternity Support Work or equivalent
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C/Grade 4 or functional skills level 2
  • Ability to demonstrate our organisational values and behaviours
