About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternity Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to women, babies, and their families throughout their maternity journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist midwives and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to women and their families.
  • Support women in making informed decisions about their care and provide education on healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that women receive holistic and person-centered care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless care and support to women and their families.
  • Document clinical findings and care in patient records, maintaining accurate and timely records.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Higher Education in Maternity Support Work or equivalent care experience.
  • Math and English GCSE grade C/Grade 4 or functional skills level 2.
  • Care certificate or working towards.
  • Ability to demonstrate our organisational values and behaviours.
