Job Summary

About the Job
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various needs, adapting teaching methods to meet their requirements. This 35-hour per week position involves working during term time only, with a fixed-term contract until August 2025.

Key Duties
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Assisting the classroom teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans, incorporating technology-enhanced learning where possible.
  2. Providing individualized support to students with special needs, leveraging expertise to tailor approaches to meet their unique requirements.
  3. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in Education or a related field, or be willing to pursue relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school-based setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

Remuneration and Benefits
