Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Role:
This role requires a highly motivated and caring individual to support students with Special Educational Needs at a generic special school in Coventry.
About the Position:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, working closely with teachers and colleagues.
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to IEP development, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Participate in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in SEND.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of differentiation, inclusion, and personalized learning principles.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS subscription service.
Salary and Benefits:
£90-£110 per day (full-time position), with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
