We are seeking a Learning Assistant to support children in a Year 4 class at our primary school in the heart of the city. This is a temporary position until 31st August 2025, initially. The successful candidate will have recent school-based experience or be a Graduate keen to enter the teaching profession. They should be a caring individual who is prepared to go the extra mile to meet the needs of all children. The salary for this role is approximately £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic person who can stimulate and engage children in their learning. They should have GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics and relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake training as a Teaching Assistant. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and we must tell you about any unspent conviction, caution, reprimand, or warning under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
