Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow in General Medicine to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general medicine and be able to manage a wide variety of acute medical emergencies.

Main Responsibilities

The Clinical Fellow will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and management of acute medical emergencies
  • Working closely with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in educational activities and contributing to the development of junior doctors

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Medicine at SHO equivalent grade or above

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous ST3-5 level experience
  • PACES or ALS Provider certification

Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • Sound general medicine knowledge and ability to manage a wide variety of acute medical emergencies
