Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner

We are looking for a skilled Surgical Assistant in Orthopaedics to join our team at Blakelands Hospital. The successful candidate will have experience in surgical scrubbing, particularly in orthopaedic procedures such as hip and knee arthroplasty.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during orthopaedic procedures
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes
- NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate: £25-£35 per hour
