About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetics / ODP to join our theatre team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our surgery team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of Optical Express.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Laser Vision Correction - Scrub
  • Intraocular Lens (Cataract) - Scrub
  • Anaesthetic assistant
  • Pre-operative assessments
  • Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Medicines management
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including no nightshifts or on-call, a modern working environment, and generous annual leave. We also offer paid professional fees, indemnity coverage, and discounts on prescription eyewear and sunglasses.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered with the NMC or HCPC and have previous experience in a theatre or scrub setting.
