Join the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) as a Regional Director for Northern Ireland, leading the delivery of the ICE Plan and promoting civil engineering in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness of civil engineering and the ICE's role in infrastructure development.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in NI, including government, industry bodies, and academia.
  • Provide expert commentary on civil engineering and infrastructure issues, acting as an ICE spokesperson when necessary.
  • Oversee the delivery of regional events and activities, ensuring they are high-quality and meet member needs.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and working with volunteers.
  • Experience in business planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Excellent relationship building, communication, and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Experience in project management and event delivery.
  • Experience of interaction with infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Passion for civil and infrastructure engineering and a commitment to promoting the profession.
