$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.


Job Description:The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst Lead to join our team and take on key responsibilities in driving our data analysis strategy forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data insights and recommendations that meet and exceed client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting / Client Problem-Solving: Listen and understand client issues, gathering information, considering the contribution of data and analytics, and suggesting options.
  • Client Liaison - Mid-level: Liaising with mid-level clients, taking briefs, and suggesting outline responses.
  • Data Formatting: Format data using Excel or R, creating data frames, understanding data matrices, and preparing data for analysis.
  • Data Specification: Writing a data specification based on project requirements.
  • Descriptive Analysis: Conducting basic descriptive analysis in Excel or R, e.g., histograms, X,Y plots, correlations.
  • Model Building and Testing: Running standard and advanced models, reviewing results, and testing additional specifications to determine the best approach.
  • New Business - Pitching: Contributing valuable insights and optimisation to the pitch process.
  • Presentation - Writing: Writing persuasive presentations accessible to clients, focusing on actionable insight.
  • Project Management: Day-to-day management to ensure projects are delivered on brief and on time.
  • Recruitment: Sourcing and interviewing candidates at lower levels.
  • Team Management: Managing teams below your level.
  • Training: Training other team members and contributing to agency training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in data science/advanced analytics within an agency or business space.
  • Masters in quant preferred.
  • Experience running MMM, incrementality tests, optimisation, and data science tools in R or other coding languages.
  • Advanced analytics capabilities: building and running statistical models with clear outputs.
  • Excel skills: Proficiency in Vlookups, indexing, writing formulae.
  • Programming capabilities in R and Python - intermediate level okay, advanced preferred.
  • Geo-spatial analysis experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and building PowerPoint decks for analysis.
  • Detail-oriented, taking pride in accurate and clear outputs based on triple-checked data.
  • A desire to ensure insights are applicable and utilised by recipients.
  • Clear experience developing insights that drove business change and growth.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - willing to take on new challenges and look into answering client questions in new ways with new data sources.
  • Digital media channel experience a plus.
