About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Introduction Specialist to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our product introduction team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of new software, features, and products into our project delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the first implementation of new software modules, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between our Sheffield Technology Centre and Scunthorpe Operations Centre to guarantee full transparency and seamless product handover.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships across product and project teams to ensure seamless planning, communication, and integration.
  • Understand our customer's business, technical, and operational requirements and match them to Synectics' value proposition.
  • Coordinate across different Synectics departments to ensure a smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Track the progress of all new client systems from sales, design, testing, and FAT through to release and implementation at customer sites.
  • Develop comprehensive checklists to ensure detailed documentation and diagrams are provided to both customers and the company for stable and scalable system delivery.
  • Ensure the creation of technical handover documentation to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is easily accessible and well-organised for future reference and audits.

Experience

  • Experience of providing technical solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Experience in delivering technical/IP network-based projects into customer environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and hardware integration.
  • Proven technical training in software in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarisation with Microsoft Windows platforms (feature set, operation, security, deployment).
  • Familiar with: IP networking, Windows Domains, Virtual Machines, system replication and backups, firewalls, and port security.
  • Beneficial but not essential: Experience of video storage, digital video, and digital data management.
  • Beneficial but not essential: Experience with Cloud technologies.
