Reliability Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Stannah. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our lift and escalator systems across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Utilisation: Develop a deep understanding of available data to drive improvement initiatives and implement effective maintenance strategies.
- Asset Performance and Reliability Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses on lift and escalator performance to identify risks, improve first-time fix rates, and enhance engineer utilisation.
- Preventative Maintenance and RCA: Create and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to address failures or safety issues and ensure optimised asset longevity.
- Stakeholder Reporting and Data Management: Maintain detailed records and performance data, generating reports on KPIs and sharing insights with stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Collaboration and Project Leadership: Collaborate with departments and lead large-scale improvement projects to maximise value and incorporate industry best practices in reliability engineering.
Requirements:
- Specialised Reliability Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in reliability engineering, particularly with lifts, escalators, or similar electro-mechanical systems, ideally managing large-scale or national portfolios.
- Data Analysis and Quality Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using data analysis and quality tools with strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Strong communicator and collaborative team player, capable of working effectively across various disciplines.
- Certifications: Certified in reliability engineering (CRE) and/or lift and escalator maintenance or equivalent industry qualifications.
