About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sheffield Forgemasters Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our Melting department, you will be responsible for the Planned Maintenance Plan, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling, downtime, and shutdown maintenance within the department.
  • Coordinate and plan maintenance rectification work, utilizing analytic techniques to estimate Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time Before Failure of equipment.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documents detailing instructions for asset care.
  • Implement Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) projects, conducting equipment criticality studies.
  • Effectively utilize the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) through the departmental Engineering team.
  • Review and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance plan through Root Cause Analysis.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Maintenance Engineering, Health and Safety, and CMMS systems. You should be capable of creating visual and audible information from analyzing faults, failures, and performance improvements. A strong predictive and non-intrusive approach to maintenance is essential.
