The University of Stirling is seeking an exceptional Project Coordinator to join our IMPACT team, playing a vital role in facilitating transformative change in social care settings across the UK.

About the Role

This fixed-term position is available for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for co-designing and delivering evidence-informed improvement projects, synthesizing research, lived experience, and practice knowledge to drive positive change.

You will work closely with our national Facilitator lead and host organisations to ensure that projects meet the needs of stakeholders, including people who draw on care and support, carers, and front-line practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-design and deliver evidence-informed improvement projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
  • Review and synthesise research, lived experience, and practice knowledge to inform project design and implementation.
  • Work sensitively with issues of power, ensuring the inclusion of underrepresented voices and perspectives.
  • Champion and operationalise IMPACT's commitment to co-production, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Develop and disseminate lessons learned and findings to a diverse audience through creative and impactful means.
Essential Criteria
  • A first degree of good standard relevant to this area of practice, or equivalent professional qualification, or sufficient experience to demonstrate connected knowledge and skills.
  • An understanding of public policy, public services, front-line practice, and/or the realities of people's lives, including factors that enable or prevent change in such settings.
  • Experience of applied research and/or the implementation of innovation/new ways of working within a social care or related area of practice and policy.
  • A strong commitment to the principles of co-production and to embedding these in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate effectively with a range of different social care stakeholders.
