Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Procurement team at JD Sports. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient processing of Purchase to Pay transactions.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and systems, with experience in analyzing and resolving issues related to Purchase Order and Invoicing. You will be responsible for providing excellent support to suppliers and colleagues, ensuring that all P2P queries are resolved promptly and efficiently.

You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues from various divisions and external suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support query resolution for P2P queries, ensuring a positive experience for new and existing suppliers.
  • Contribute to system maintenance, development projects, and enhancement of existing processes.
  • Engage with colleagues from multiple JD Group divisions, subsidiaries, and external suppliers.
  • Produce reporting and actionable insights on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis, including contributions to the monthly departmental board report.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years + experience within a fast-paced commercial environment (preferably via accounts payable/receivable/P2P).
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets efficiently and automate processes to manage large volumes of data.
  • A good understanding of purchase order and invoicing processes, with the ability to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues.
  • Advantageous to have used Coupa System.

Salary and Location

This is a salaried position based in Bury Head Office, with an estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
