About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting Services Limited. As a Territory Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling our range of analytical instrumentation to customers across the UK and occasionally overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing customer relationships and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
  • Effectively manage your territory, including sales projects and negotiations.
  • Support the development of customer applications and provide training on the correct use of our equipment.
  • Participate in conferences and exhibitions to promote our products.
  • Support the development of marketing communications with customers.
  • Visit customer sites to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, and train customers on our equipment.
Requirements
  • A degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years' experience in selling analytical instruments into various industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petro/chemical, and academia.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD-level scientists, and technicians.
  • Availability to travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings.
