The Vacancy

Binnies, an RSK Group Company, is seeking a Commercial Administration Assistant to join our team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the commercial manager and framework Director, ensuring the smooth operation of Binnies' part in the alliance.

About the Role

The Commercial Administration Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Monthly invoicing using Microsoft Excel
  • Timesheet administration, including bulk uploading timesheets into our client's proprietary system
  • Project administration, supporting project managers
  • Organisation and administration of team events
  • Approval of expenses for team members
  • Booking travel & accommodation
  • Support to the wider Binnies business for similar tasks

The role may require travel to other offices from time to time, and expenses will be paid. Prior experience is not necessary, as training will be provided. Attendance at the offices in Peterborough is an essential requirement.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will be a key part of the support team and will often be the first port of call for administrative support to our team members. You must be a friendly and approachable person, willing to actively support people, whatever their issue is.

You must be able to demonstrate mathematical agility required to undertake financial administration, which could be provided with:

  • A degree in a technical or STEM subject
  • Prior experience of a similar role
  • Other experience or education that would demonstrate ability to manage financial administration
