Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Receptionist and Administrator to join our NHS team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for patients and visitors by managing the reception area effectively.
  • Handle phone calls in a polite and professional manner, answering queries and taking messages as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and updating patient records accurately.
  • Provide back-up relief for reception duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

The ideal candidate will possess good literacy and numeracy skills, with proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word. Experience in a busy office environment is essential, along with knowledge of secretarial and clerical systems.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, rising to £28,000 with experience, making this an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking career growth and stability.
