About the Role

We are seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join our busy Area in City & County of Swansea.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of the trade to a high standard within our Housing and Public Buildings Maintenance Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance tasks in public buildings and housing areas;
  • Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of the trade and work as part of a team;
  • Fulfill the requirements of the role effectively and efficiently.

Safeguarding:

We have a principle that safeguarding is everybody's business, which applies to all employees, elected members, volunteers, and contractors in Swansea Council.

Working with Us:

We offer a competitive salary between £25,000 and £30,000 per year depending on experience.

This role requires you to have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
