TimePlan Education is seeking a skilled Childcare Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Thurrock, Essex. As an Early Years Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities that cater to the needs of each child.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with children to nurture their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters a love for learning in all children.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Provide individualised support to children where needed, fostering confidence and independence.
Key Requirements
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification or proven experience in a nursery or school setting within the UK.
  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners.
Our Benefits
  • An estimated salary of £85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • A full-time contract with term-time only hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30 PM.
