We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and other associated difficulties on our courses.
Our ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with tutors and other staff members, and have a willingness to learn about Autism and other difficulties. A qualification in Autism or other associated difficulties is not essential, but a passion for supporting students with additional needs is.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with Autism and other associated difficulties on our courses
- Facilitate individual learning programmes and provide support to learners in small groups and 1-1 activities
- Collaborate with ASC Coordinators to meet the needs of learners
- Support learners to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities
- Personal care may be required as part of the role, with training provided
