Job Summary:

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Charge Card Program Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Procurement Services team, you will be responsible for administering the University's charge card program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our cardholders and university departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and advise cardholders and university staff on state and university policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Develop and implement auditing and tracking tools to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist in strategizing and carrying out short-term and long-term goals for the Procurement Services team.
  • Administer terminations and dispute resolution, including meeting with cardholders and department staff to resolve disputes.
  • Support the Commonwealth's SWaM procurement requirements and ensure compliance by end users and cardholders.
  • Provide advisory services and training to university department staff on purchasing policies.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with coursework in business administration or a related field.
  • Ability to use computers and software packages, including MS Office and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with large data and charge/corporate card reports.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business administration, procurement, audit, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of charge card administration experience in a public sector environment.
  • Virginia Contracting Associate (VCA) certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
